Would You Rather Have Your Health or the Ability to Constantly Travel?

I’ve been asking this question to people that I meet along the way. It’s a difficult question because both are quite important in life. It’s obvious that health is important; however, for those who have done a lot of traveling, they realize how much traveling has shaped the person they are today. It is through travel we learn to be more confident in who we are and learn to appreciate our own company. I can honestly say that my view upon the world has greatly changed due to travel.

So the question is, which is more important to you? ┬áIf for instance you couldn’t choose both, which do you choose and why? Let me know by leaving a comment below?

Ryan is an avid bucket lister. Travel, photography, blogging and adventure are some of his hobbies. He once went on a trip to Spain and was robbed of all his stuff except his clothes. No money, no insurance, no identification and no way to contact family and friends from back home. Did he end his trip? No way! He ended up running with the bulls in Pamplona the very next day.

I think one of the main reasons I value my health and fitness is because it enables me to travel. It’s much easier to be unfit/overweight if all you do is 9-5 and TV on weekends.

Health is a necessary condition for travelling around. Therefore this is not really a choice.

I would choose my health over travel, because you can’t have the benefits you said you got from travelling if you lost your health was bad on those trips. Have you ever been sick on a vacation? Not a good memory!
I agree with ‘Hiking enthusiast’ that health is a necessary condition for travelling, therefore it is really not a choice.
